CARTER, Billy Ray, former owner of Carter's Marathon and Towing. Beloved husband of Geneva Joyce Carter (nee Shelton). Loving father of Tina L. (Robby) Carter Tucker, Brenda J. (Rick) Carter McElfresh, Aaron (Diedre) Carter, Jay Jay Carter and the late Flora Lynn Carter. Devoted grandpa of Anna, Nathan and Malcom Blackaby, Noel Tucker Helton, Tony and Kyle Biggs, Ashlee Tucker, Patrick McElfresh, Jena Tucker, Kerala Carter, Tony McElfresh and Jentzen and Seth Carter. Great grandpa of Mariah Helton, Adrian and Madyson Blackaby and Madison Helton. Dear brother of Sue Hugo and the late Phyllis Carter. Passed away January 15, 2012. Age 77 years. Visitation Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd., Harrison and Friday from 10:30 A.M. until time of funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle, 2100 Springdale Rd., Burial Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Billy Ray Carter Fund C/O Trinity Pentecostal Church, 1356 Sample Rd., Oxford, OH 45056.
